Everyone Gets a “Peace”

First of all, thank you. I have received so much wonderful feedback from my article yesterday about the Power of Forgiveness that I am inspired to “run with the ball” and base today’s Tuesday Trainer on practicing forgiveness in your life.

There are different types of forgiveness and different ways to administer it – but the bottom line is that those who wrong you are to be forgiven, even when the wrongdoer is you.

When discussions about forgiveness are had, they are usually founded upon the actions of others – but what about your actions? How many horrible things have you uttered to yourself, directed at yourself, about what you did or should have done, only to continue carrying that burden with you throughout the rest of your life?

I want you to experience freedom. In my upcoming publication, Everyone Gets a Peace, the emphasis of Self-Forgiveness plays quite a large role throughout, as such is what connects so many of us to indefinite misery.

When we were children we did not dream of miserable lives. We dreamed of lives that were “unrealistic” and “far-fetched” – but they ARE realistic and not at all far-fetched! It’s not too late! I don’t care how old you are and neither does the Universe! What matters is that you see yourself for who you are, where you are and most importantly, what YOU want for YOUR life!

Is someone going to reprimand you if you internally forgive yourself for every mistake you’ve made? Is someone going to tell you you’re wrong for freeing yourself from a life of pain? Is someone going to tell you that you can’t do what you want? No one would dare!

I used to abstain from taking a lot of “inspired action” in my life because of what I thought other people would think. Then I realized, I wasn’t living my life for me – I was living my life for everyone else, who had nothing to do with the life I was living. Focus on you and remind everyone who thinks they have a say in your life to MYOB – Mind Your Own Business!

When I learned to let go, to be free and to take solace in the fact that “everyone gets a peace” – I happily and with determined thought, ordered my “peace” and when my “peace” was given to me, I took and still take very small amounts, savoring each morsel. We needn’t be gluttons, for very small amounts bring us enormous volumes of peace.

Take a few minutes and think about everything that has occurred in your life up until this point. Think of everything you feel like you have ever done wrong, been wrong about, felt wrongly for doing, etc., and say, out loud, “I am forgiven. I am free.”

Forgive yourself for responding out of habit, forgive yourself for taking inappropriate tones with people, forgive yourself for giving too much, forgive yourself for giving too little, forgive yourself for thinking with limitations, forgive yourself for disallowing yourself to have what it is that you truly desire – because when you do, you will finally get to taste your “peace.”
